Women’s Golf Finishes 12th at Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Lipscomb Women's Golf wrapped up the 2026 Golfweek Fall Challenge on Tuesday with a 12th-place finish in the 23-team field at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

The Bisons finished the three-day event at 31-over par with a team score of 883, posting rounds of 288, 297 and 298 on the par-71, 6,004-yard course.

Christina Surcey led Lipscomb with a tie for 36th, finishing the tournament at 7-over par. Surcey opened with an even-par 71 before carding rounds of 75 and 74 to finish with a 54-hole total of 220.

Eliza Yelverton followed closely behind, tying for 43rd at 8-over par. She recorded rounds of 73, 74 and 74 to finish at 221. Catherine Odom turned in Lipscomb's best round of the final day, firing a 1-over 72. Odom finished tied for 51st at 11-over par after rounds of 78, 74 and 72. Savannah Howell finished tied for 57th at 12-over, carding rounds of 71, 74 and 80. Her opening-round even-par 71 matched Surcey for the Bisons' best score of the first day. Ava Bankston rounded out the Lipscomb results in a tie for 65th at 13-over par, posting rounds of 73, 75 and 78 for a three-round total of 226.
