2022 Cross Country:

• Did not see any action over the course of the season

2022 Track and Field:

• Competed in three indoor meets and four outdoor meets for the Bisons
• For indoor - competed in the 800m, the mile, and the 4x400m relay
• Earned seventh place in the 800m at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic with a time of 1:59.86
• Logged a personal best mile time at the Samford Bulldog Invitational with a time of 4:24.90 to finish 13th and earned fifth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:33.46
• For outdoor - competed in the 800m, the 1500m, and the 4x400m relay
• Earned a personal best time in the 1500m at the Joe Walker Invitational where he finished 47th with a time of 4:04.76
• At the Outdoor Music City Challenge, he claimed sixth place in the 4x400m relay with a 3:27.33 and earned a personal best 1:57.87 in the 800m to finish 12th
   

2021 (Fall) Cross Country:

• Competed in three meets for the Bisons this season
• Opened the season with a personal best in the 5K with a 16:57.0 to finish 32nd at the Belmont Opener
• Posted a 28:29.0 at the North Alabama Showcase to finish 131st
• Logged a season-best in the 8K at the UAB Blazer Classic with a time of 27:53.4

2021 Track and Field:

• All-ASUN (Indoor) Third Team - Distance Medley Relay
• Competed in three indoor meets and four outdoor meets
• Indoor - ran the 800m, the mile, and the DMR
• Best finish was third in the DMR at the ASUN Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 10:39.58 finish time
• Outdoor - ran the 800m, 1500m, and the 4x400m
• Best finish was fourth place in the 4x400m at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a team time of 3:28.61

2021 (Spring) Cross Country:

• Ran in two meets
• Logged his season best time of 27:38.9 to earn 61st in the Lipscomb Winter Classic
• Finished 58th in the ASUN Championship with a time of 29:26.4

2020 Track and Field:

• Competed in three meets
• Ran the mile, 800m, and 3000m on the season

2019 Cross Country:

• Ran in three meets
• Turned in a season-best time of 27:56.6 at the Louisville Classic

High School: 

• Ran at North Lincoln
• 2x All-Region
• 2-year team captain
• 12-time letter winner
• 2x team state cross country champions and 1x track champions
• Member of National Honor Society
• Scholar-Athlete of the Month

Personal:

• Parents are Dawn and John Risse
• Has two brothers, Brian (also on the Lipscomb cross country/track and field squad) and Connor
• Plans to major in Finance
