- Kelly (Dad) played four years of football at Middle Tennessee State, then was an NFL quarterback for 13 years
- Jameson (Brother) played football at Troy and Murray State
- Graduated with a degree in Sports Management and is working on a Masters in Conflict Management
- Chose Lipscomb because it is a family environment, close to home and wanted to help change the program.
- Fun Fact: Family is trying to see all 50 states together and have over 40 so far
