Men's soccer sets winter ID camp dates

NASHVILLE - Lipscomb men's soccer head coach Charles Morrow has announced the dates of the 2020 Lipscomb University Winter College ID soccer camp. The camp will take place on Jan. 18 and 19.

The camp will cost $200 and is open to rising high school freshman up through rising high school seniors, as well as college transfers. Both field players and goalkeeper are encouraged to attend.

The Lipscomb University Winter ID Camp is designed to test players in a college setting to evaluate players' potential to play at the next level. All players are expected to be in good shape and prepared for a weekend of intense, high level training and play.

The emphasis of the Lipscomb ID Camp is on evaluating players' abilities in training as well as small-sided and full-sided match play.  Participants will have the opportunity to work with and get to know the college coaches.

At the end of the weekend, campers will walk away with direction on what they need to do to better their chances of finding a college program where the coaching staff feels that they will fit best in the college landscape. 16 of the current Lipscomb Men's Soccer players were identified through Lipscomb ID Camps.

Our Lipscomb University coaching staff and players staff the Winter ID Camp along with other college coaches from NCAA Div I, II, and NAIA programs. ID campers will also have the opportunity to play with and against our current college players..
