ATLANTA, Ga. – Lipscomb women’s basketball’s Keely Morrow has been named the ASUN Freshman of the Week, as announced by the league offices on Monday.
Morrow earned her first career ASUN weekly honor after turning in her two highest scoring outputs of the year.
On Tuesday, Morrow poured in a career-high 22 points on 7-14 shooting, including 4-6 from three-point range, and a perfect 4-4 mark from the free throw line to lead Lipscomb in a loss at Liberty.
She also tied for the team lead with five rebounds and added two steals.
On Saturday at Kennesaw State, Morrow again led the Purple and Gold with 17 points on 7-14 shooting, while grabbing a team-high seven boards.
This is the third ASUN Freshman of the Week honor for Lipscomb this season, including second in a row after Kailey Rosenbaum’s previous two nods.
The Lady Bisons will be back in action on Tuesday night as FGCU visits for a 6:30 p.m. tip.
