Box Score TULSA, Okla. - A late score was not enough for the Bisons as Lipscomb fell to Tulsa 3-1 on Monday night at Hurricane Stadium.
Junior Malik Shaheed scored in the 78th minute off an assist from senior Daniel Muhlbauer to cut down the Hurricane lead down to one.
But Tulsa responded with their third goal, this time from Mitchell Cashion, to put the game away for good.
The Golden Hurricane notched their first goal in the 25th minute as Thomas Wells put one in the back of the net.
Jonathan Cervantes added a second Tulsa score less than a minute later.
Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Alex Brown made four saves in his second career start.
