Countdown to Tipoff: 35 days until Bison Basketball

After months of uncertainty with no timetable of when we would next see the Lipscomb Bisons back game action after the ASUN Conference postponed its fall season, clarity came in mid-September when the NCAA approved a Nov. 25 start to the college basketball season.

Over the next month we will track the dwindling days to a long-awaited tipoff by matching the countdown clock to corresponding numbers of the men's basketball team. As we are 35 days out from the season opener, we turn our attention to No. 35 – Luke Howard.

The freshman forward signed with Lipscomb in 2019 out of Harding Academy in Memphis where he was a 2-time All-Region and All-District player for head coach Kevin Starks.

Howard scored 1,350 career points over his two years at Harding and was named a finalist for Tennessee's Mr. Basketball. Read below to find out more about Howard.
