JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Despite a near double-double from Dorie Harrison, the Lady Bisons ultimately fell to North Florida 74-57 in a game of momentum swings.

The offensive attack was balanced for the Lady Bisons with both Harrison and Jordan Peete scoring in double figures, combining for 25 points. Taylor Clark, Jalyn Holcomb and Kailey Rosenbaum also combined to pour in 26 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UNF (11-7) got out to a quick 14-6 lead, but Lipscomb (9-8) found its rhythm and went on an 8-0 run to tie things up. A big triple from Peete at the 5:21 mark was an exclamation point to cap off the run.

The Lady Bisons went on to take a 16-14 lead to end the first quarter.

North Florida settled back in during the second quarter and momentum shifted back to the Ospreys. Despite Harrison heating up on the floor, Lipscomb would head to the locker room down 35-32 at the half.

Right out of the gate in the second half, Harrison turned up the heat with a layup and a block to give the Lady Bisons momentum.

Down by one, Lipscomb went on yet another 7-0 run to retake the lead. At the 5:04 mark of the third quarter, Jane Deason drained a trey at the end of the run. Lipscomb's momentum would continue for the remainder of the period to take a 49-46 lead heading into the final frame.

UNF caught fire from the floor and outscored the Lady Bisons 28-8 in the fourth quarter. Lipscomb ultimately fell 74-57 in the tightly contested game.
