ATLANTA, Ga. - Lipscomb's Ahsan Asadullah earned the ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday.
After back-to-back 30-point performances to open conference play with the Bisons, Asadullah secured the seventh Player of the Week honor of his career and his third this season.
He averaged 31.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in the first two ASUN games of the season. The Atlanta native dropped 30 points, six rebounds and five assists on Tuesday against North Alabama before recording 32 points, 11 rebounds and six dimes in a road matchup at Central Arkansas on Sunday.
He is the first Bison to record 30 points in back-to-back outings since Garrison Mathews (March 2019).
The Bisons return to action Tuesday at Jacksonville State with a 6 p.m. tipoff.
