NASHVILLE -- Lipscomb Men's Soccer's Hayes Wood earned a spot on the College Soccer News Team of the Week, it was announced Monday. 

Wood was a huge key to Lipscomb's 2-1 road win at Stetson on Saturday to stay undefeated in ASUN play. He scored both goals, getting on the end of a pair of corner kicks. His first goal came when he sent a header into the back of the net that was set up by a Noah Gulden inswinger. He also scored on a corner put in play by Luca Naumann when he put away his own rebound on an original header. 

Lipscomb is back in action Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. CT at non-conference foe Memphis.
