Noah Gulden Named First Team Scholar All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second-consecutive year, Lipscomb Men's Soccer's Noah Gulden has been named a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American. Gulden is a First Team All-American in 2022 after being a Second Team member last season. 
 
Last week, Gulden became the only Lipscomb Men's Soccer player in history to earn First Team All-American honors. The honor is the latest of many honors after a stellar graduate season. He was also named a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region member, a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist, the ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, the ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year and a member of the ASUN All-Academic Team and ASUN All-Conference First Team. 
 
The Drammen, Norway native played and started in every game for the Bisons, never coming off the pitch. He helped to anchor a back line that posted nine shutouts, the most in the ASUN. The squad also had the 14th best shutout percentage in the country. Helping Lipscomb to be one of the strongest defenses in the league and the nation, Noah helped Lipscomb to hold opponents to just 14 goals on the season, also the best mark in the league. The defender was also a contributor offensively with a goal and 10 assists, the best mark in the ASUN. Not only was he at the top of the ASUN, but he ranked top-20 in the nation in assists per game and ninth in the country in total assists. He broke the Lipscomb record for career assists with his third of the season, now holding the Lipscomb record with 25 total assists.
