NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Soccer senior
Noah Gulden was named to the 2022 Hermann Trophy Watch List on Thursday by United Soccer Coaches and was named a College Soccer News 2022 Preseason Third Team All-American on Tuesday.
The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by the voting of Division I coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
Gulden joins 37 other players on the list, including Karim Diao of Central Arkansas. He is the first person in Lipscomb Men's Soccer history to land on the list.

The defender was also named a Preseason All-American by College Soccer News. Gulden is the only ASUN athlete to earn the honor and is one of 34 athletes to earn a place on one of the three Preseason All-American Teams.

Gulden was recently named the ASUN Preseason Defensive Player of the Year and was one of 24 defenders on the United Soccer Coaches 2022 Players to Watch list. One of the most decorated Bisons in program history, Gulden had another phenomenal season in 2021 earning Defensive Player of the Year, All-Conference First Team, United Soccer Coaches First-Team All-Region, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American, ASUN Scholar Athlete of the Year and ASUN All-Academic Team honors. The Drammen, Norway native led Lipscomb with seven assists last season, including on four of the Bisons' game-winning goals. He was a two-time 2021 Defensive Player of the Week and started every match and played nearly every minute in the 2021 season.
