Bisons open season at Streamsong Invitational, play suspended in round two

BOWLING GREEN, Fla. – Lipscomb men's golf opened up its 2022-23 campaign Monday with an up-and-down day before lightning and darkness suspended play in round two. The Bisons are in eighth place at -15 in the event.

Round two will pick up at 6:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday before continuous play carries over into the third round.

Ford Goldasich leads the Bisons at 9-under par and sits tied for sixth overall. He carded a 67 in the first round and sits -4 through 16 holes of round two. He turned in the third-most birdies on the day with 12.

Jason Hong is tied for 26^th at 4-under. He shot a 71 in round one and is -3 thru 15.

Lipscomb leads the field with 108 total pars on the day and is third overall in par-5 scoring with a 4.61 stroke average (-14).

Virginia is at the top of the leaderboard with a -38 score, followed by Jacksonville (-32) and Mercer (-27).
