NASHVILLE -- Lipscomb Men's Basketball's Owen McCormack was named the ASUN Newcomer of the Week, it was announced Monday. McCormack posted a double-double in Lipscomb game against Arkansas on Saturday evening with 13 points and 12 rebounds. McCormack led Lipscomb in a furious comeback over the final 10 minutes of the game eventually falling to national powerhouse Arkansas by just three points. The center shot 40-percent from the field and 43-percent from three point range while going a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line. In addition, McCormack added two assists and forced a steal. 

Lipscomb will be back in action Wednesday, Dec. 20 against Bryan at 2 p.m. CT.
