NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Basketball's
Charlie Williams was named Preseason All-ASUN, the league announced Friday. The team was voted to finish seventh in the Preseason Coaches poll with 77 points, while the Bisons were picked to finish fifth in the Preseason Media Poll with 408 points and nine first-place votes.
Williams was a starter on the 2025 ASUN Regular Season and Tournament Championship team, playing in all 35 games and starting in 17. He boasted a 43.9% field goal percentage and a 45.6% in ASUN play. The Lipscomb big had a 33.0% three-point percentage overall and averaged 33.3% in the category during conference play last season. He boasted five double-digit performances and was third on the Lipscomb squad with 57 assists during the 2024-25 campaign. Defensively, Williams averaged 1.9 rebounds per game and notched 18 blocks.
