JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Lipscomb Women's Cross Country dominated the course at Cecil Field on Saturday morning, claiming the 2025 ASUN Championship in commanding fashion. Led by senior Mia Bergman's record-breaking 5k performance, the Bisons placed five runners inside the top eight and seven within the top 15 to secure the program's latest conference title.
Bergman finished third overall with a time of 16:24.0, shattering the previous school record and setting the tone for a historic day for the Bisons. Ellie Brewer (5th, 16:30.8) and Linda Perez (6th, 16:36.9) followed close behind, while Harley Kletz (7th, 16:53.2) and Liza Corso (8th, 16:53.7) rounded out a dominant top five that sealed the team victory.
Freshman Lauren Eilers continued her breakout season with a 12th-place finish (17:05.9), earning both Second Team All-ASUN and All-Freshman Team honors. Aly Negovetich (14th, 17:08.9) and Addi Greene (23rd, 17:33.8) also contributed to Lipscomb's depth as all seven scorers placed within the top 15.

The championship victory caps an outstanding regular season for the Bisons, who displayed remarkable consistency and depth throughout the fall under head coach Nick Polk and assistant Grace Franke.
