Four Baseball Players Earn ASUN Postseason Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb University Baseball saw four players earn Atlantic Sun Conference postseason awards, announced by the league office on Monday. 

Parks Bouck was named to the Second Team, while Cole O'Brien earned Third Team honors. Brady Miller secured a spot to the All-Freshman Team. 

Academically, Bouck and David Coppedge collected Academic All-ASUN honors. 

Bouck, a redshirt senior from Keller, Texas, led the Bisons in hitting with a .333 batting average with 10 doubles, five home runs and 38 RBI. He has totaled 15 multi-hit games in 2025.

Totaling 215 plate appearances, he tallied 20 strikeouts, good for the fourth-toughest in the conference. 

Over the course of the season, Bouck had an 18-game hitting streak from April 1 to May 3, which was the second-longest since 2010,  and a 23-game on-base streak from March 22 to May 3,

O'Brien, a junior from Decatur, Alabama, moved into the weekend rotation at the end of March and has shoved against Gold Division foes. In nine appearances versus ASUN opponents, including seven starts, he posted a 2.39 ERA with a 1.48 WHIP in 37.2 innings.

Overall, he made 16 appearances, 11 starts, with a 3.22 ERA, allowing 21 earned runs in 58.2 innings. While only striking out 48 batters, O'Brien averages 9.66 flyouts per game and 8.13 groundouts per game.

Miller, a freshman from Oakdale, Pennsylvania, was Lipscomb's primary starter at second base. His .289 batting average and OPS of .822 was good for fifth-best among ASUN freshmen. 

Being the primary table setter for the Bisons, he has started at the top-two spots in the lineup in 39 of his 45 starts, scoring 31 runs, second-highest among first-year players. 

Coppedge, a senior from Chesterfield, Virginia, recorded a .298 batting average and a team-high OPS of .939 thanks to 18 doubles, two triples and nine home runs. 

He is in the top-10 in the league in doubles (fourth) and RBI (seventh).

The Bisons will gear up for the opening round of the 2025 ASUN Championship, set to start on Tuesday night from DeLand, Florida. Lipscomb, the two-seed in the Gold Division, will take on Florida Gulf Coast, the three-seed in the Graphite, at approximately 7:30 p.m. EDT.
