Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second straight season, the Lipscomb University baseball team has been recognized for their success in the classroom, as the program was listed on the American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award.
The award was released by the ABCA on Wednesday.
The Bisons earned a 3.38 team grade point average over the course of the 2024-25 academic year. Along with being a member of the ABCA, teams earn the award with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Three schools from the Atlantic Sun Conference earned the academic accolade: Jacksonville, Lipscomb and Queens.
Two Bisons, Parks Bouck and Jake Lynch, were honored for their efforts in the classroom earlier this summer, being named to the Academic All-District ® Team by College Sports Communicators. Bouck and David Coppedge were also listed on the Academic All-ASUN Team.
