NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Basketball's Grant Asman was named to the DI-AAA ADA Scholar Athlete Team, the organization announced Wednesday. 
 
This is the 24^th season that the Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association has presented a Scholar-Athlete Team. 
 
Basketball players from all Division I-AAA ADA member institutions are eligible for these prestigious annual awards. Each nominee must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.20 in undergraduate study and have been a starter or an important reserve with legitimate athletics credentials. Nominees must have participated in at least 50% of the team's games listed on the nomination form. To be eligible for nomination to the Scholar-Athlete Team, individuals must have reached junior academic standing at their respective institution. 
 
Asman, a graduate student from Kimberly, Wisconsin, was a mainstay in the Bison lineup in 2026, his fifth season in the Purple and Gold. He was selected First Team All-ASUN and Academic All-ASUN for the 2025-26 season, helping Lipscomb to a 19-13 overall record in head coach Kevin Carroll's first season as head coach.
