Bailey Pedigo Elevated to Assistant Coach and Director of Operations

NASHVILLE – Bailey Pedigo of the Lipscomb University Women's Basketball Team has been elevated to Assistant Coach and Director of Operations for the 2026-27 season, announced by head coach Lauren Sumski

Pedigo has been with the Bisons for the last two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Bisons, working with scouting, player development, individual workouts and assisting with recruiting and operations. She was a part of the Lipscomb staff that qualified for the Women's National Invitation Tournament in 2025.

During her time with Lipscomb, she has assisted with four All-ASUN selections.

"Bailey seamlessly transitioned into our program as a graduate student and immediately made her impact felt through the joy that she brings every day and her servant heart," said Sumski.

"To say that she is a tireless worker is an understatement. Bailey is always willing and available to do whatever the program needs, whenever we need her to. She is always ready for a challenge and has made herself invaluable to our program. She has been demonstrating all of the necessary qualifications for the position for quite some time now. We are happy to keep her in the program, where she will continue making a difference as she continues to grow!"

Coming off her playing career at Campbellsville University (Ky.), Pedigo was a part of three conference championships, two conference tournament titles and three NAIA national championship appearances (2021-23-24). All three of the team's postseason berths saw them advance to the quarterfinals.

She played in 128 career games for the Tigers with 105 starts as a guard, and she scored 679 points, grabbed 446 rebounds and dished out 377 dimes. She was a member of the Mid-South Conference's Academic All-Conference Team and was the Champion of Character for both the MSC and the NAIA in 2023.

Off the court, she served Campbellsville as president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of the MSC's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Pedigo graduated Summa Cum Laude from Campbellsville in 2024 with a degree in math and health and physical education. She recently completed a Master of Education at Lipscomb with an emphasis in curriculum and instructional coaching in 2026.

"Bailey was able to get a tremendous amount of work accomplished while completing a tough degree in Education. There's no doubt she will utilize the tools that she has learned in that program to help make our team better," said Sumski.
