Kelsey Schenck Collects First ASUN Setter of the Week Award

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Lipscomb University Volleyball program was represented on the first Atlantic Sun Conference Volleyball Weekly Awards of 2026, as Kelsey Schenck was honored as the league's Setter of the Week on Monday afternoon.
For Schenck, it is her first-ever ASUN Setter of the Week accolade and she is the second player in program history to achieve the milestone since the award was established in 2022.
In Lipscomb's 2-0 weekend, she tallied 11.86 assists per set and 0.86 aces per set, both high marks in the league. Finishing with 83 assists, she also added 24 digs, six aces and three blocks in the victories over Memphis and Charleston.
For a Bisons team that produced 98 kills (14.0 per set), she helped the team to a .262 attack percentage.
Against the Tigers, the Overland Park, Kansas native posted a career-best 46 assists and matched her high in aces with four on Aug. 28. She also had 14 digs.
The following day versus the Cougars, the junior contributed the most assists in a three-set match in ASUN competition last week with 37 and added a double-double with 10 digs.
Schenck and the rest of the Bisons are back in action next weekend, continuing a season-opening, five-match home stand against Kansas in the LUV Invitational on Thursday night for a 6 p.m. opening serve in Allen Arena.
