LUV Adds Blake Mohler to Coaching Staff

NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Volleyball program has recently hired Blake Mohler to the 2026 coaching staff, announced by head coach Sarah Baldwin on Wednesday.
Prior to joining LUV, Mohler built extensive experience as both a professional volleyball player and a coach, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the program.
"We are excited to welcome Blake Mohler to the Lipscomb Volleyball staff. An AVCA All-American, decorated Purdue standout, and accomplished professional player with championship experience across the United States and Europe, Blake embodies the earn everything mentality that defines our program," said Baldwin.
"Her competitive excellence, leadership, and passion for developing student-athletes make her an outstanding addition to our staff."
Her professional volleyball career spans several years across both the United States and Europe. Domestically, she concluded her third season with Major League Volleyball, playing with the Indy Ignite the last two seasons. Playing in 15 matches during the 2026 campaign, she put together 86 kills and a .363 attack percentage as a middle blocker.
She started her MLV career in 2024 with Orlando and also participated in Athletes Unlimited in 2023.
Overseas, her European career included notable stints with Beziers Volleyball Club in France, where they were part of the French Cup Champion team in the 2022-23 season, as well as VolleyDudingen in Switzerland and VFB Suhl Lotto Volleyball Club in Germany.
Her collegiate coaching career has included stints as an assistant coach at South Alabama (2023) and Loyola Chicago (2024). During her time with the Ramblers, she was a part of an Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship, earning the automatic qualifier at the NCAA Tournament and defeating BYU in the opening round.
Mohler's collegiate career spanned five seasons at Purdue. After redshirting her first year with the Boilermakers, she was a four-year starter and letterwinner, earning accolades including two-time First Team All-Big Ten and AVCA All-Northeast Region First Team (2018, 2019). She is also a two-time AVCA All-America member, earning Third Team in 2018 and Honorable Mention in 2019.
She finished her time at West Lafayette, Indiana with 976 kills in 480 sets played with a .332 attack percentage as a middle blocker, adding 497 blocks.
She was also recognized for her academic achievements as a four-time Academic All-Big Ten and a recipient of the Wooden Leadership Certification Award. Notably, Mohler served as the team captain in 2019 and was a candidate for the Senior Class Award.
Mohler graduated from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science in business management with an organizational leadership minor in 2019.
