2021-22:

• Named ASUN Player of the Week on 3/8 following a week in which she went 4-2 in three matches, collecting singles victories against opponents from Villanova and Memphis (OH)
• Tied for most wins on the team with a 14-17 overall record
• Tied for most singles wins with a 9-7 singles record at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, highlighted by a 3-set thriller of a victory over then-ITA ranked #45 and eventual ASUN Player of the Year and Doubles Pair of the Year member Kit Gulihur of North Florida (6-4, 0-6, 6-2)
• Went 8-5 on court two, collecting 5 sweeps along the way, including a victory against #48 Memphis to earn the Bisons' lone point that match
• Collected a 3-3 singles record in league play
• Went 5-10 in doubles play, primarily with Anja Trbeznik
• Also partnered with Maddox Bandy, teamed up with Sasha Dobranos to go 2-3 in league play 

2020-21:

• Named to the All-ASUN First Team
• Named to ASUN All-Academic Team
• Led the Bisons in wins with a 21-14 overall record
• Went 10-8 in singles in the No. 1 position, collecting 6 sweeps along the way
• Posted a 4-3 record against conference opponents
• Finished 11-6 as a double primarily with Anja Trbeznik in the No. 1 position
• Also played alongside Emma Zakordoniec and Sasha Dobranos

2019-10:

• Went 5-6 at No. 1 singles and 2-9 in doubles 
• Earned three sweeps in dual action and a road win at Louisville

2018-19:

• First Team All-ASUN
• Finished 14-3 at No. 2 singles and went 4-2 in the ASUN
• Recorded 12 sweeps
• Won eight of last 10 matches to close the season
• Teamed with three different partners to post a 13-5 doubles record, including 4-1 in ASUN action
• Won 11 of her last 14 doubles to end the season
• Teamed with Vik Dzyuba to make a run to the ITA Regional Doubles Final, falling 7-5(5), 0-6(3-10) to Vanderbilt
• Defeated three top 10 tandems in the run (#4 Vandy, #5 Vandy and #9 Memphis)

2017-18:

• ASUN Freshman of the Year
• ASUN First Team selection
• Was arguably the best player in the conference after putting together a 16-2 season in singles action to lead the league in victories while splitting time between the top two positions (9-2 at No. 1 and 7-0 at No. 2)
• That included a 6-0 mark against ASUN opponents,
• Ended the year on a 14-match win streak after last falling against Xavier 
• Thirteen of the 16 victories went her way in a sweep
• In doubles play, she teamed with three different partners and finished the season 9-8, including a 4-1 mark in ASUN play

Prior to Lipscomb:

• Attended Bucha Secondary School in Ukraine
• Started playing competitive tennis at age 6
• Has been ranked as high as 1,081th in singles play according to Tennisexplorer.com

Personal:

• Daughter of Sergii and Oksana Popova
• Has one sister named Maria (15)
• Plans to major in business management
• Favorites include: How to Get Away with Murder (TV Show), Spiderman: Homecoming (Movie), Sherlock Holmes (Book), One Direction (Music Group), Roger Federer (Pro Athlete) and FC Shakhtar (Pro Sports team).
