Benham comes to the Music City after a stellar prep career at Concord Academy in North Carolina.
As a senior in 2020-21, he poured in 19.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game and powered the program to a No. 20 ranking in the state.
Over four years, he helped guide the Eagles to a 105-27 overall mark and a 34-4 ledger in league play.
Behind 19.2 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 2.0 apg and 1.7 spg, Benham spearheaded CA to a 35-3 overall record and the 3A State Championship in his junior campaign.
The Eagles earned the No. 2 team ranking in North Carolina and No. 45 in the nation by MaxPreps.
He is a 2-time All-State and All-Region selection, was named Team MVP and Athlete of the Year for his junior campaign.
In 99 career games for Concord Academy, Benham has averaged 15.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
He drained 308 career triples, 118 career free throws and scored a total of 1,495 career points.
