The Lipscomb Bisons, rated 15th in the South Region for the second week in a row, competed in two different events over the weekend.
A large group participated in the University of Evansville Invitational in Evansville, Ind. As a team the Bisons finished ninth in a field of 14 teams.
The Bisons are ranked fifth for the second week in a row in the Atlantic Sun poll.
Leading the way for the Bisons was Hunter Hethcoat, who crossed the line in 37th place with a time of 27:40 on the 8-K course.
Isaiah Greer finished 48th with a time of 27:53.22. Jonathan Williams was close behind in 51st place with a time of 27:59.31.
Ben Wright was 54th with a time of 28:04.04.
A group finished in the 80s in the field of 151 runners. Aaron Todd was 85th (28:52.18), Mike Yang was 86th (28:56.89), Austin Bever in 87th (28:59.98) and Andrew Shankles was 89th with a time of 29:03.58.
Andrew Jones was 108th (29:43.05), Jeff Hoover finished 111th (29:49.89) and Paul Wright was 118th (30:16.42).
Four Lady Bisons competed in the women’s 5-K race at Evansville. The Lady Bisons are rated seventh in the conference poil.
Ashley Lehman finished 18th in a field of 107 runners with a time of 20:01.32.
Priya Pappu was second with a time of 20:30.91. Shannon Shoemake crossed the finish line in a time of 20:40.09 to finish 39th.
Laura Stewart finished in 78th place with a time of 22:34.98.
