The Lipscomb Lady Bisons are making a stop Wednesday at Western Carolina before heading to South Carolina for the Chanticleer Classic hosted by Coastal Carolina.

Western Carolina is 13-10 after splitting a doubleheader Tuesday with UNC-Wilmington. The Lady Bisons are 7-8.

Pitcher Whitney Kiihnl is credited with all seven of those wins. She leads the Atlantic Sun in earned run average (.73) and opposing batting average (.138).

She has pitched 76.1 innings and struck out 115 batters, third best in the A-Sun.

Bree Thurman leads the team in hitting with a .278 average.
