Countdown to Tipoff: 25 days until Bison Basketball

After months of uncertainty with no timetable of when we would next see the Lipscomb Bisons back game action after the ASUN Conference postponed its fall season, clarity came in mid-September when the NCAA approved a Nov. 25 start to the college basketball season.

Over the next month we will track the dwindling days to a long-awaited tipoff by matching the countdown clock to corresponding numbers of the men's basketball team. As we hit Halloween, the Bisons are 25 days out from the season opener, so next up is No. 25 Miles Miller.

The 6-foot-2 guard enters his second campaign in Nashville and is expected to play a big role for head coach Lennie Acuff and the Bisons.

Miller averaged 3.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists last year and played in all 32 games (15 starts). He shot 30.9 percent from the floor and 81.8 percent from the free throw line.

On a team without a true point guard, Miller provided relief for Acuff when the ball was in his hand, supported by a 1.6 assists-to-turnover ratio that ranked 8^th-best in the ASUN Conference.
