Storylines

  • Saturday is We Back Pat Day at Allen Arena. Tickets are available here and include entry to the game, a commemorative t-shirt, and a donation to The Pat Summitt Foundation.

  • We Back Pat has a special significance for Lipscomb as head coach Lauren Sumski and assistant coach Ariel Massengale played under Coach Summitt at Tennessee.

  • Lipscomb is looking to stay unbeaten at home on the season. They are a perfect 5-0, including 2-0 in ASUN play.

  • In their last weekend series, the Purple and Gold lost both matchups with ASUN-leading FGCU.

  • At FGCU, senior Taylor Clark became just the 10th Lady Bison in the DI era to join the 1,000-point club for her career. She will be honored during the game on Saturday.

Scouting the Hatters

  • Stetson is 4-7 on the season, with a 2-4 ASUN record. They are 1-2 on the road for the year, with the lone win coming at North Florida.

  • The Hatters enter the weekend on a three-game losing streak, having fallen to FGCU twice and Bellarmine once.

  • Last season, the two teams split their two matchups, with each squad winning on the road.

  • Three Hatters average double-figures in scoring per game: Yazz Wazeerud-din (13.4), Jamiya Turner (11.9), and Day'Neisha Banks (11.7).

Herd Notes

  • ASUN Preseason All-Conference senior Taylor Clark leads Lipscomb in scoring at 12.8 points per game. She has finished in double-figures eight times this season.

  • Sophomore Jalyn Holcomb is second on the team in scoring with a 10.3 points per game clip. She earned her first career ASUN Player of the Week award after scoring a career-high 28 points vs Bellarmine.

  • Casey Collier is also averaging in double figures at 10.2 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds and a team-high 3.1 assists per outing.

  • Dorie Harrison is averaging a team-best 6.9 rebounds per contest. She has grabbed 10 or more rebounds three times this season.

  • All 14 Lady Bisons on the roster have scored so far this season. 11 Lady Bisons are averaging at least 10 minutes per game.

  • Clark, Holcomb, and Sydney Shelton have started all 12 games for Lipscomb. The only players to play in every game are Jordan Peete and Jane Deason.
