Track & Field Finish Out Day Three of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – Lipscomb's Track & Field teams completed their first three-day meet of the outdoor season on Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Bisons collected five top-20 finishes to round out the meet.

For the women's team, sophomore Kiara Carter earned 16^thplace in the women's 800m run with a time of 2:09.09. Meanwhile, graduate student Kendall Long put up a time of 1:03.39 in the women's 400m hurdles to finish 20^th.

On the men's side, Jonathan Imes and Ahmed Amaar earned 13^th and 18^th in the men's 200m dash with times of 21.53 and 21.63 respectively. Senior Demontae Wilson earned a personal best in the same event as he posted a time of 22.02 in the 200m to finish 39^th.

The final top-20 finish for the Bisons came in the men's 4x100 relay where Deven Ward, Jonathan Imes, Demontae Wilson, and Ahmed Amaar posted a time of 41.13 to earn fourth place.

The Bisons will be back in action Friday and Saturday, April 8-9^th at the Joe Walker Invitational, hosted by the University of Mississippi.
