NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Basketball's Jacob Ognacevic was named to the ASUN All-Conference Team the league announced Monday. Ahsan Asadullah was also named to the ASUN All-Academic Team. 
 
Ognacevic was one of the most consistent offensive threats in the conference all season. The forward averaged 17.3 points per game this season and 18.3 points per game in ASUN play which ranked second in the conference. The sophomore was one of the best in the country this season in field goal percentage. He connected at a 60.5-percent clip which ranked 23^rd in the nation and led the ASUN while ranking 28^th in the nation in total field goals made, the second-most in the conference. He was also one of the top free throw shooters in the conference, making 89.9-percent from the charity stripe during ASUN play while taking the third-most free throws per game (3.9). Defensively he had eight blocks on the year, seven steals and 134 rebounds. All told, Ognacevic ranked top-five in the conference in field goal percentage, field goals, free throw attempts, free throw percentage, free throws made, points and points per game. 
 
Asadullah earned a spot on the ASUN All-Academic Team for the fourth-consecutive year. The graduate student boasts a 4.0 GPA while studying for a Graduate Certificate in Global Leadership. The center played and started in every game for the Bisons and led the squad in rebounds per game (6.0). Early in the ASUN slate, Asadullah broke Lipscomb's career rebounding record with his 1,017^th career rebound. On the offensive end of the ball, he leads the squad with 100 assists which is more than 25 more assists than any other center in the country. 
 
Lipscomb will continue its 2023 campaign in the ASUN Tournament with a matchup at Stetson. Tipoff on Feb. 28 is set for 6 p.m. CT in DeLand, Florida.
