Box Score CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Lipscomb University men's tennis team played a great weekend of competition this past weekend at the UTC Steve Baras Fall Invitational. 

Lipscomb was led by doubles duo Henrique Ushizima and Oliver Thoeny, as they won Flight A doubles with three victories. They dropped Aeneas Schaub/Sota Minami of Austin Peay, 6-3, to take the crown. 

In Flight B, Oskar Szymczak/Antoine Testaud advanced to the finals of the draw with wins over Samford and UAB. 

Juan Lombisano and Oskar Szymczak made it to the finals in Singles Flight C with two wins each. 

Similarly with Giovanni Ciocca and Facundo Perlov, as both won two matches to advance to the final in Flight D. 

Oliver Thoeny made it to the finals in Flight B with straight set wins over Sota Minami of Austin Peay and Matej Laibl of Chattanooga. 

In Singles Flight A, Henrique Ushizima, despite losing a tight three-set battle to Gabriel Castillo-Sanchez of UTC, came back and won two matches in the consolation, knocking off Darek Kuczynski of Tennessee Tech and Hoan Mouret of UAB. 

Also taking third place was Juan Lombisano/Facundo Perlov in Flight A Doubles and Giovanni Ciocca/Alex Pinkston in Flight B.
