JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Facundo Perlov of the Lipscomb University Men's Tennis team was listed as a Second Team of the Atlantic Sun's All-Conference Team, announced by the league office on Monday, April 13.
Perlov, a senior from Buenos Aires, Argentina, posted a 10-11 dual record this spring, all at the No. 1 flight in singles play. Collecting his first All-ASUN honor in his career, seven of his 21 matches went to a deciding third set, posting three victories.
Including his fall tournament matches, he totaled 18 wins.
In doubles, he led the team with an 11-3 record in spring matches has a team-high 22 wins between duals and tournaments.
During the season, he has been ranked with two doubles partners. He and
Henrique Ushizima were ranked 34th at the end of the fall season. The No. 34 ranking is the highest mark for Lipscomb Men's Tennis in program history.
Additionally, he and
Alex Vlahos are currently ranked 72nd from their time as a doubles team from the start of the spring season.
In his three-year career with the Bisons, Perlov is 55-46 in singles and 50-27 in doubles and earned his 100th career win earlier this season.
Along with the postseason accolades on the court, the Bisons saw four student-athletes named Academic All-ASUN:
Facundo Perlov,
Oliver Thoeny,
Henrique Ushizima and
Filippo Verdese.
The Bisons will open competition in the 2026 ASUN Men's Tennis Tournament, starting on Wednesday evening in the quarterfinals from Fort Myers, Florida.
Lipscomb, the six-seed in the event, will take on three-seed Stetson at 5 p.m. EDT from the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University.
