TEMPE, Ariz. – Facundo Perlov and
Henrique Ushizima from the Lipscomb University Men's Tennis Team were listed on the national Intercollegiate Tennis Association Doubles Rankings, announced by the coaches organization on Tuesday.
The duo is ranked 34th in the nation, marking the highest ranking for Lipscomb Men's Tennis in the team's Division I era.
The previous high in doubles was 78th by Victor Chaw and Jorge Ortegon from March 7, 2017.
So far in 2025, Ushizima and Perlov went 9-2 on the fall schedule, including a quarterfinal finish at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. The team capped their weekend with an 8-7 (3) victory over then No. 64 Karim Al-Amin and Ondrej Horak of Middle Tennessee State.
Also during the fall slate, the Bisons took third place at Auburn's Battle on the Plains Tournament in early October. The duo went undefeated in doubles, defeating teams from Alabama State, North Alabama, Louisiana and Memphis.
