NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Men's Tennis Team ended a four-match losing skid with a 5-2 victory over Indiana University at Indianapolis on Friday from the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lipscomb, for the second straight day, took the doubles point. At the third flight,
Henrique Ushizima and
Oliver Thoeny earned their second straight win as a doubles team with a 6-4 result.
However, the clincher came on court two, as
Facundo Perlov and
Filippo Verdese rallied to defeat Eli Mercer and Pumiphat Sukko, 7-5, to get the Bisons on the board first.
In singles, Uzhizima (12-12) rolled to a 6-4, 6-3 victory on court three to improve his spring record to 8-4 to make it a 2-0 lead.
Lipscomb secured the match after
Oskar Szymczak (16-10) and Verdese (13-10) took dubs on courts three and two, respectively, It was a straight-set win for Szymczak, who earned his seventh win of the season in spring play.
For Verdese, he rallied to defeat Owen Nguyen in the second set via tiebreak, 7-4.
Alex Vlahos took down Pumiphat Sukko (7-5, 5-7, 10-6) on court five to achieve Lipscomb's fifth team point of the match.
