LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the third straight season, the Lipscomb Men's Tennis team picked up double-digit wins in a season thanks to a 6-1 rout of Bellarmine University on Friday afternoon from the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Knights' top doubles team in Eli Wood and Ryan Parkins earned the first flight with a 6-4 win, but the Bisons rallied to take the next two spots.
From the No. 3 spot in the lineup,
Henrique Ushizima and
Oskar Szymczak earned their second straight win as a doubles team with a 6-4 victory to pull even.
On court two, Flilppo Verdese and
Facundo Perlov improve to 5-0 as a doubles team with a big 7-5 win to take the team point. Ahead 5-3 in the set, Bellarmine evened the set at five games apiece. However, Lipscomb won the next two to secure the set.
In singles play, Lipscomb took care of the contest with three straight points to secure the contest.
Alex Vlahos (8-19) won his third straight match with a 6-1, 6-0 rout of Alexander English on court five, while
Oliver Thoeny (8-9) cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win on court six to make it a 3-0 lead.
Ushizima (17-14), after winning the first set in a 7-4 tiebreak, cruised to a 6-0 win in the second set to clinch the match and earn his fourth straight win.
Verdese (16-13) and Szymczak (19-13) also picked up wins for the Bisons.

The final week of the regular season will feature three matches, all at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center. The home stand starts on Tuesday afternoon versus North Alabama. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
