BOWLING GREEN, KY – Lipscomb Softball dropped its midweek matchup at Western Kentucky on Tuesday night, falling 5–1.
Western Kentucky jumped out early with two runs in the first inning and added another in the second to take a 3–0 lead.
The Hilltoppers extended their advantage to 4–0 before Lipscomb got on the board in the fifth inning when Kyla Jobe scored on a passed ball, cutting the deficit to 4–1.
Western Kentucky added an insurance run in the sixth inning to secure the 5–1 victory.
