HOW IT HAPPENED

It took the Bisons several minutes to settle into the match, but the first goal came when Wood buried a shot off of service from Spicer for the 1-0 lead.

After the first strike, Lipscomb kept the momentum in its favor and put another in the back of the net for a 2-0 lead. In the 35' minute, Bagayoko was the benefactor of another beautiful ball into the box by Tyrese Spicer. Bagayoko tucked the ball inside the near post for his fourth goal of the season.

The Bears came out of the halftime break hot and got a goal back early when it earned a penalty kick after a foul just inside the box. Alberto Suarez converted from the spot, cutting the Lipscomb lead 2-1.

After some nervous moments, the Bisons gave themselves some insurance with an 81' minute goal. Wood scored his second of the night from the top of the 18-yard box when Louis Robinson played a ball from the right side. Wood finished a rocket past the keeper for the 3-1 lead.

The final tally of the night came in the 82' minute. Javanne Smith got behind his defender and fired off a rocket that was saved by the Bears' keeper. Lopez was there to clean up the rebound and net his third goal of the season to cap off the 4-1 victory.
