Noah Gulden headlined the Bisons' ASUN All-Conference awards as Defensive Player of the Year while six others landed spots on All-Conference teams.
NOAH GULDEN – Defensive Player of the Year, All-Conference First Team, All-Academic Team, Scholar Athlete of the Year
The 2021 Preseason Defensive Player of the Year,
Noah Gulden, lived up to expectations and earned his first Defensive Player of the Year award. He shares the award with Central Arkansas' Alberto Suarez.
Noah Gulden was also named to the All-Conference First Team for the fourth time in his career. He was also named Scholar Athlete of the Year for the second-straight season as he boasts a 4.0 GPA while studying Management. His selection to the All-Academic Team marks his third-straight selection. This season,
Noah Gulden led the conference and the Lipscomb squad with seven assists, assisting four of the Bisons' game-winning goals. He earned ASUN Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this season for his efforts. The defensive stalwart played and started in every match and played nearly every minute for Lipscomb on the pitch this season.
SCOTT GULDEN – All-Conference First Team, All-Academic Team
Scott Gulden joins his brother on both the All-Conference First Team and the All-Academic Team. Both a defensive and offensive threat, the defender finished second on the Lipscomb squad with four goals and top-10 in the ASUN in the category. He was twice named the ASUN Defender of the Week this season for his efforts. Playing over 1300 minutes,
Scott Gulden played and started in every match. He helped Lipscomb's defense to three shutouts on the season, including a shutout in the last match of the season to clinch a share of the ASUN Regular Season Title.
Scott Gulden secured a spot on the All-Academic Team by holding a 3.9 GPA while majoring in Management.
TYRESE SPICER – All-Conference First Team
Spicer earns his first All-Conference nod in 2021 after establishing himself as one of the biggest offensive threats in the ASUN. He finished the regular season leading the Bisons with six goals, the second-best mark in the conference. He also dished out three assists for 15 points, the second-most in the conference. Spicer poured in the most game-winning goals with three. The one-time 2021 ASUN Player of the Week scored his first hat trick of his career this season in Lipscomb's 4-1 victory at Evansville. Always a threat in Lipscomb's attacking third, he leads the conference with 41 shots.
LOUIS ROBINSON – All-Conference Second Team, All-Academic Team
Robinson earns ASUN All-Conference honors for the third time in his career with a 2021 All-Conference Second Team nod. The defender tallied three goals on the season, the third-most on the squad. He also dished out three assists for nine points during the 2021 regular season. Robinson helped anchor a Lipscomb defense that posted three shutouts and played nearly every minute in the 14 matches he played this season. For the second-consecutive season, he landed a spot on the All-Academic Team, carrying a 3.9 GPA while studying Finance.
LUCA NAUMANN – All-Conference Second Team
Naumann earns a spot on the All-Conference Second Team for the first time in his career in 2021. Naumann was a workhorse in the midfield for the Bisons all season, playing in all 15 matches for over 1200 minutes. He tallied four points with one goal and two assists. Naumann assisted what proved to be a crucial game-winner in overtime against FGCU to keep the Bisons in the hunt for the Regular Season Title.
HAYES WOOD – All-Conference Second Team
Wood earns All-Conference Second Team for the second-consecutive season after scoring six goals and dishing out two assists. He ranked second in the conference in goals and third in points with 15 at the end of the regular season. Wood was always clutch, scoring three game winners this season, two coming in ASUN play. He scored Lipscomb's first game-winner of the season to secure the victory at UCLA to open the season. He started and played in every ASUN match this season and appeared in 14 games overall.
CARLO CAVALAR – All-Freshman Team
Cavalar was a unanimous selection to the 2021 All-Freshman Team after an impressive campaign. He made an immediate impact when he stepped on campus, playinig in all but one match and starting in 10. Cavalar tallied one goal and one assist on the season. A stalwart in the midfield, he was a major piece in Lipscomb's offensive efforts all season even when he didn't shot up on the box score.
