EUGENE, Ore. – Shane Streich finished his Lipscomb career Saturday night at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field. Streich finished eighth overall in the 800m semifinal run.  
 
He finished sixth in his heat with a time of 1:46.92, narrowly missing the cut to advance as he was the first runner out of the finals field.  
 
The only Lipscomb athlete to ever make a semifinal at the U.S. Olympic Trials, Streich will leave his mark in the Bisons' record book as one of the best to ever don the uniform.
