NASHVILLE -- Lipscomb Men's Soccer's Malachi Jones was named the ASUN and TSWA Player of the Week, it was announced by both organizations Tuesday. The honor marks Jones' first ever ASUN Player of the Week nod and the 29th honor in program history. 

The freshman was involved in all three goals in the 3-1 victory at Mercer, notching the first brace of his career, scoring two goals in three attempted shots-on-goal. He also added an assist on the opening goal before adding the game-winning goal and insurance goal in the second half. 

Jones sits second in the conference with six goals scored and second with 15 total points. 

Lipscomb will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Stetson for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff.
