Five Bisons Earn All-Region Honors

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Soccer landed five athletes on United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams it was announced Tuesday. Noah Gulden, Tyrese Spicer and Jelldrik Dallmann were named to the Atlantic Region First Team while Michael Sibley and Hayes Wood were named to the Atlantic Region Second Team. 
 
Lipscomb's five selections to Atlantic Region Teams were tied with Elon for the most selections of any school in the Atlantic Region. 
 
NOAH GULDEN
 
Gulden lands on the First Team All-Region for the second-consecutive year after an impressive season. The Drammen, Norway native played and started in every game for the Bisons, never coming off the pitch. He helped to anchor a back line that posted nine shutouts, the most in the ASUN. The squad also had the 14th best shutout percentage in the country. Helping Lipscomb to be one of the strongest defenses in the league and the nation, Noah helped Lipscomb to hold opponents to just 14 goals on the season, also the best mark in the league. The defender was also a contributor offensively with a goal and 10 assists, the best mark in the ASUN. Not only was he at the top of the ASUN, but he ranked top-20 in the nation in assists per game and ninth in the country in total assists. He broke the Lipscomb record for career assists with his third of the season, now holding the Lipscomb record with 25 total assists. Gulden was once again the most decorated member of the ASUN this postseason. After boasting a 4.0 GPA while studying for a Masters of Business Administration. He was named Scholar Athlete of the Year for the third-consecutive year and earned a spot on the All-Academic team for the fourth-consecutive season. The graduate student was the Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in his career and was one of two unanimous selections to the ASUN First Team All-Conference. He landed a spot on the First Team All-Conference squad for the fifth-consecutive year, finding himself on the team every year of his career. 
 
JELLDRIK DALLMANN 
 
Dallmann earns a spot on the Atlantic Region First Team for the first time in his career in 2022. Dallmann was named the ASUN Player of the Year and was one of two unanimous selections to the ASUN First Team All-Conference after an impressive first year with Lipscomb. The forward played in 17 games for the Bisons and led the ASUN with 11 goals which is was for seventh in the nation at the end of the regular season. The Senior had three game winners during the regular season, tied for the most on the Lipscomb squad and second in the ASUN, a mark that ranked 17th in the country. He also ranked eighth nationally in goals per game (.73) and 16th in the country in points per game (1.60) after adding a pair of assists on the regular season. Always a problem for defenders, he averaged over three shots per game and landed over half of his shots on frame. 
 
TYRESE SPICER 
 
Spicer lands on the First Team for the second-consecutive season after playing in 18 matches for Lipscomb as a threat on the wing.  The Trincity, Trinidad & Tobago native dished out seven assists, a top-five mark in the ASUN and second-most on the Lipscomb squad. He also notched four goals on the season for 15 points. He ranked top-five in the ASUN in shots and shots on goal. He scored one game-winner for the Bisons and was an ASUN All-Conference Second Team selection. 
 
MICHAEL SIBLEY
 
Sibley earns All-Region Second Team honors for the first time of his career after a successful senior campaign. He played and started every match between the pipes for Lipscomb, only coming off the pitch for two minutes this season. He played over 1,700 minutes, more than 300 more minutes than any other goalkeeper in the ASUN. The London, England native posted a goals against average of 0.73 with a 0.38 GAA in ASUN play. He was top of the ASUN in goals against average and was 16th in the country in the category. With eight shutouts and one combined shutout, he had the most shutouts in the ASUN and the 10th most in the nation. He also ranked top-five in the ASUN in save percentage (.759), goals against (14) and saves (44). Sibley was the ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year and an ASUN All-Conference First Team member.
 
HAYES WOOD 
 
Wood earns Second Team All-Region honors for the second-consecutive season. Wood played and started in every match for the Bisons and was the second-leading scorer on the squad with eight goals which also ranked second in the ASUN. He dished out three assists for 19 points on the season. Always clutch, he had three of Lipscomb's game winners this season, tied for the most on the team and second-most in the ASUN. He landed 23 shots on goal for a .426 shot on goal percentage on the season. The Chattanooga, Tenn. Native earned ASUN First Team honors for the first time in his career to go along with a 2021 Second Team nod.
