Box Score YOUNGSVILLE, La. – The Lipscomb softball team wrapped up play in the Mardi Gras Mambo Sunday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Louisiana Tech.

The loss drops the Bisons to 4-9 on the year while La Tech improved to 9-6.

Emily Yakubowski took the defeat after working 3.2 innings with three runs allowed on five hits. She also struck out three and walked three.

Lipscomb struggled at the plate, only reaching base twice. Maci Cunconan collected the only base hit, while Kelly Paulson drew a free pass.

The Bulldogs' pitcher Audrey Pickett improved to 6-2 with the win. She worked a complete game with one hit allowed, one walk and five strikeouts.

Lipscomb will finally play in front of its home fans Wednesday when the Bisons welcome Northern Iowa to Draper Diamond for a 2 p.m. first pitch.
