Nashville, TN. – Head Coach Jeff Forehand and the Lipscomb baseball team have announced the addition of eight student-athletes to the 2023 recruiting class. 
 
The 2023 class features some outstanding talent from Tennessee, South Carolina, Arizona, Alabama, and Florida. 
 
"This class is a very good one for us. We have signed a freshman class with the opportunity to get on the field quickly and a Junior College class that has big time potential," said Forehand. 
 
MEET THE NEWCOMERS:

Caleb Scott

"Caleb is first of all a great person and has a fantastic family. He has the athletic ability as a middle infielder, that can develop into a dynamic player. His defensive ability right now is game ready and we are excited for his future as a Bison."
   
Carter Richey

"We have felt Carter was a fit for Lipscomb for a long time. As soon as we got the chance to meet him and his dad, we knew that we needed him to be a Bison. Carter is a versatile player and is going to make a quick impact on our offense. Carter has the potential to drive in a lot of runs and be a force in the middle of our line up."
 

Jacob Tobias

"Jacob has been committed to be a Bison for a while now. He has played for a great summer program that has helped him find the right spot. He has a great upside and the potential to be a solid player.  He has an athletic frame that is going to help him develop into a very good outfielder and is a quality hitter from the left side of the plate."
