
Hutson Miles Named a Finalist for ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Lipscomb University Baseball program's Hutson Miles has been recognized as a Finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association late Monday afternoon (June 15).
The 2026 Gold Glove finalists were voted on and selected by the ABCA NCAA Division I All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.
ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winners in all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 17 via X by Rawlings Sporting Goods (@RawlingsSports).
Below are the outfield finalists for NCAA Division I:
Miles, a junior from Madison, Tennessee, was one of the top outfielders in the nation in 2026. According to 6-4-3 Charts at the start of the NCAA Tournament, he posted a 15.48 defensive runs saved stat with four outfield assists and a .980 fielding percentage.
An All-ASUN Second Team selection, Miles was in the top-five in wins above replacement at 2.6.
At the plate, Miles was second on the team in hitting with a .340 average. Totaling 66 hits and an OPS of .893, he scored 55 runs, second-most in the league.
Additionally, he finished 11th in Division I in triples with six, setting a new program record.
Lipscomb University has one ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winner in program history since the award started in 2007, and it was also an outfielder. Michael Gigliotti was honored back in 2017.
The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007 and are presented annually to the top defensive players from each division of collegiate and high school baseball.
