
Frank Drafted to Chicago Cubs

NASHVILLE -- Lipscomb Baseball's Hayden Frank was taken by the Chicago Cubs in the 2024 MLB Draft. Frank heard his name called as the 17th pick of the 15th round by the Cubs.
Frank was shut down for most of the 2024 season due to injury, but played and started in five games. He recorded a 4.34 ERA on the season and notched two wins and zero losses in 18.2 innings pitched. Last season, Frank earned a spot on the 2023 ASUN Second-Team honors after an outstanding season. During the 2023 season, frank developed into the Bisons' shutdown closer with the lowest ERA on the squad (1.23) over 22 appearances for a total of 36.2 innings pitched. He had three wins on the season and four saves during the season.
