LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lipscomb University Baseball dropped a 13-0 decision in seven innings in a midweek matchup at Louisville on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless top of the first, Louisville threatened to take the lead when it loaded the bases in the bottom of the inning, but
Cole O'Brien worked out of a bases-loaded jam to strand all runners and keep the game scoreless.
Lipscomb got a runner in scoring position in the second when
Jacob Tobias singled up the middle and stole second, but a strikeout ended the inning, stranding Tobias. The Cards struck first with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second for a 2-0 advantage after two complete.
Each squad threatened with runners in the third inning, but the score held through the third. In the bottom of the fourth, Louisville increased its lead 5-0 with a three-run homer. The Cardinals blew things open in the bottom of the fifth with an eight-run inning for a 13-0 score after five complete.
The Bisons were not able to get a run across the plate and eventually fell 13-0 in seven innings.
