TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Lipscomb University baseball team suffers a 10-1 decision to No. 6 Florida State University, Friday evening from Dick Howser Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Florida State got two runs out of the gate in the bottom of the first, but Lipscomb cut into the deficit in the top of the second with a solo home run by
Ryan Austin, his second of the season.
The Seminoles were able to respond in the bottom half. After
Jake Poindexter got two outs, a two-run single made it a 4-1 lead.
Poindexter settled in after the first couple of innings, striking out a career-high eight batters, including back-to-back in the fifth inning.
FSU put the game away in the sixth with a grand slam.

After matching his career high in strikeouts last week,
