TEMPE, Ariz. – The Lipscomb University men's and women's tennis teams were recognized on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's All-Academic Awards, announced by the ITA on Monday.
The ITA administers two academic awards: ITA All-Academic Teams and the ITA Scholar-Athletes.
For the All-Academic Teams, each program must have a 3.2 grade point average or better for the 2024-25 academic year.
For the men, it is the fourth time since 2020 they have been listed after finishing the school year with an impressive 3.85 GPA. The team's 3.87 in the spring was the second-highest in the department.
The Atlantic Sun Conference had seven schools represented on the All-Academic Teams: Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Lipscomb, North Florida, Queens and Stetson.
Additionally, the ITA Scholar-Athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 for the 2024-25 academic year.
The men's squad saw all nine student-athletes on the roster earn Scholar-Athlete accolades:
