NASHVILLE – It all starts this weekend for the Lipscomb University men's tennis team, as they will participate in six fall tournaments for the 2025-26 season.
The Bisons will open the fall schedule with a trip to Murfreesboro for the MTSU Fall Invite from Sept. 12-14.
Two weeks later, the Bisons will head to Mason, Ohio for the James O'Connell Memorial Tournament, hosted by the University of Dayton, on Sept. 26-28.
October starts with a trip to Auburn, Alabama for The Battle on the Plains from Oct. 3-5.
Next, the Bisons will prepare for the annual ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships from Oct. 9-14. The event this season will be hosted by Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The fall season concludes with split-squad action. Most of the team will head to Chattanooga for the UTC Steve Baras Invitational on Oct. 24-26.
Also going on that weekend in Jacksonville, Florida is the ASUN Individual Draw, hosted by North Florida. The tournament will be a crucial part of selections for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Draw, which is scheduled to take place from Nov. 18-23 from the U.S. Tennis Association's National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
Lipscomb played sub-.500 play in both singles and doubles during the fall campaign last season, winning 44 singles and 20 doubles contests. In singles,
Facundo Perlov went 9-7, including a stretch of five of six wins to end the fall slate.
Perlov (7) and
Henrique Ushizima (6) led the Bisons in doubles wins last fall.
