NASHVILLE – Less than 24 hours after taking down Austin Peay State University, the Lipscomb University Men's Tennis team finishes off the weekend with a 5-2 victory of Alabama A&M University on Sunday afternoon inside the Ensworth Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons took control of doubles play, starting with a dominant victory at the top flight for
Facundo Perlov and
Alex Vlahos. The duo improved to 2-1 on the year with a 6-0 win over Arnav Pathange and Goran Krivokapic.
The other two doubles flights saw Lipscomb rally in both. Trailing 3-1 on court two,
Oliver Thoeny and
Oskar Szymczak finished the set with five of next six games in their favor to win 6-4 and give Lipscomb the 1-0 match lead.
In singles, despite the Bulldogs evening the match at two points apiece, the Bisons rallied to win the final three to clinch the match.
On court two,
Filippo Verdese (11-5) gave Lipscomb the lead for good with his 6-2, 6-4 victory.
Later, on court one, Perlov (11-9) trailed 4-1 in set two to Arnav Pathange. However, the senior rallied to clinch the match for the Bisons with his 6-4, 7-5 score.
Henrique Ushizima (7-9) and Szymczak (12-6) also earned wins for the Bisons on Sunday.

The Bisons will have close to two weeks off before returning to the courts on Satruday, Feb. 13 at Southern Indiana to open a four-match road swing.
